September 3, 2024: Albany, TX 76430 The Benjamin Mustangs (Benjamin, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Albany Lions (Albany, TX), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crowell for a 1A Region II District 9 bout on Saturday, September 7. Benjamin will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rotan (Rotan, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-3.
With the loss, Albany drops to 7-16 on the campaign. The Lions host Olney (Olney, TX) to clash with the Cubs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. The Cubs come into the bout with a record of 2-12. Olney lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX)
