Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cook improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Hornets travel to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to face the Bears in a 2A Area 3 test on Saturday, September 7. The Bears go into the test with a record of 15-2. Pierce County won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA)

The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taylor County for a 1A Area 1 test on Thursday, September 5. Mitchell County will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Early County (Blakely, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
