Virginia High School Volleyball - Fluvanna County can't get by Wilson Memorial
September 3, 2024: Fishersville, VA 22939 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) and the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), observed Wilson Memorial's volleyball team hold off Fluvanna County by a tally of 3-2.
The Green Hornets (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Turner Ashby was tipped by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Flying Flucos meet the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Fluvanna County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Green Hornets enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
