The Tigers now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Side for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Irving will play a Steers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Steers record now stands at 3-14.
With the loss, North Mesquite drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Stallions host MacArthur (Irving, TX) to play the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 3-9.
