September 3, 2024: Chesterfield, VA 23838 Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Louisa County improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA) to encounter the Knights in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-5. Spotsylvania won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA)
The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thomas Jefferson for a non-league test on Monday, September 9. Matoaca will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
