In Wednesday's league contest, the Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV) soccer team edged the visiting Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies encounter the Clark Chargers (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Southern - Mountain challenge, on Monday, September 8. Spring Valley will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 6-1 league loss to Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV).

With the loss, Sierra Vista moves to 5-1 on the season.
