September 3, 2025: Mars, PA 16046 In Wednesday's non-league test, the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) ice hockey squad tipped the visiting Armstrong River Hawks (Kittanning, PA), by a final score of 5-4.
Next, the Fightin' Planets face the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Mars will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA).
The River Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Antelopes enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Avonworth nipped Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
