Pennsylvania High School Ice Hockey - Avonworth knocks off Armstrong
September 4, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 The Avonworth Antelopes ice hockey team scored 8 points and held the visiting Armstrong River Hawks to 4 in the Antelopes non-league victory on Thursday.
The Antelopes now hold a 2-1 record.
With the defeat, Armstrong moves to 0-2 on the season. The River hawks travel to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Pine-Richland lost 7-4 in their recent non-league match against Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA)
