In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Grimsley Whirlies soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Asheboro Blue Comets.

The Whirlies (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Demons go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, R.J. Reynolds Glenn (Kernersville, NC), 3-3, in a non-league outing.
