Georgia High School Softball - Bainbridge topped by Miller County
September 3, 2025: Bainbridge, GA 39819 Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA), 18-5 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Miller County improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Pirates host Southwest Georgia STEM Charter (Shellman, GA) to play the Aggies in a 1A D-II Region 1 match on Thursday, September 4. The Aggies come into the match with a record of 3-1. Southwest Georgia STEM Charter won 19-4 in their recent league match against Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA)
In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) in a 3A Region 1 match, on Thursday, September 4. Bainbridge will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 3-9 record after their 16-0 league loss to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA).
