September 3, 2025: Petersburg, VA 23803 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA) and the visiting Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA), observed Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech's volleyball team top Charles City by a count of 3-0.
The Dragons (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Cougars enter the Tri-Rivers contest with a 1-1 record.
Next, the Panthers meet the King William Cavaliers (King William, VA) in a Tidewater challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Charles City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA).
