Caldwell Academy Eagles (Greensboro, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Winston Salem Christian beat Greater Vision Academy (Gibsonville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Furies play the Davidson Day Patriots (Davidson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Forsyth Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC).
