Virginia High School Volleyball - Grayson County over Chilhowie
September 3, 2025: Chilhowie, VA 24319 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) and the host Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA), observed Grayson County's volleyball team top Chilhowie by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Grayson County improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Auburn (Riner, VA) to encounter the Eagles in a Mountain Empire test on Thursday, September 4. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-0. Auburn won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Glenvar (Salem, VA)
The Warriors now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Chiswell for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. Chilhowie will meet a Pioneers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-2.
