Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting East Aces (Wichita, KS), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Crusaders enter the Greater Wichita challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Kapaun Mt. Carmel was beaten by Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Aces meet the North RedHawks (Wichita, KS) in a Greater Wichita challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The RedHawks enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Heights (Wichita, KS).
