Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) and the host Union Rockets (Modoc, IN), observed Tri's volleyball team notch a victory over Union by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Tri improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Titans host Union City (Union City, IN) to encounter the Indians in a Tri-Eastern battle on Thursday, September 4. The Indians go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Union City lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN)

The Rockets now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Hancock for a Mid-Eastern battle on Tuesday, September 9. Union will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN). The Royals record now stands at 13-2.
