The Galax Maroon Tide volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Narrows Green Waves to 0 in the Maroon Tide non-league victory on Thursday.

The Maroon Tide now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Graham for a non-league game on Monday, October 4. Galax will confront a G-Men team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Virginia (Bristol, VA). The G-Men record now stands at 0-5.

The Green Waves (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers enter the Pioneer game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Bath County gained a win over Craig County (New Castle, VA), 3-1, in a league game.
