The Blackhawk Cougars football team (Beaver Falls, PA), was ripped 42-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA)

The Warriors (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA). The Spartans come into the WPIAL AAAA Parkway challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Montour trounced New Castle (New Castle, PA), 51-0, in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Aliquippa for a WPIAL AAAA Parkway challenge on Friday, October 7. Blackhawk will meet a Quips team coming off a 55-20 league win over Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Quips record now stands at 5-0.
