Pennsylvania High School Football - Portage sneaks past Homer-Center

The Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) football edged the host Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), 28-25 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) in a Heritage bout, on Friday, October 7. Portage will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 40-14 league win over Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA).

The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cambria Heights (Patton, PA). The Highlanders enter the Heritage bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Cambria Heights nudged Blacklick Valley/United (Nanty Glo, PA), 56-0, in a league bout.
