Louisiana High School Football - St. John felled by Houma Christian
September 30, 2022: Houma, LA 70360 The St. John Eagles football team (Plaquemine, LA), was knocked off 34-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA)
The Warriors (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Plaquemines (Buras, LA). The Hurricanes come into the 2A District 9 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, South Plaquemines was knocked off by King Charter (New Orleans, LA), 28-27, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ascension Catholic for a 1A District 8 challenge on Thursday, October 6. St. John will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 33-28 non-league loss to Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-2.
