The Axtell Longhorns topped the visiting Mart Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Longhorns now have a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wortham for a 2A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, October 4. Axtell will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Dawson (Dawson, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 19-16.
