Texas High School Volleyball - Weatherford Christian can't hold off Trinity

In Friday's league battle, the host Trinity Chargers volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Weatherford Christian Lions.

The Chargers (15-12) will now prepare for their battle against Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS 3A District 1 battle with a 1-6 record.

Next, the Lions clash with the San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots (Amarillo, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 battle, on Saturday, October 1. Weatherford Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Trinity (Midland, TX).
