In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) volleyball squad were winner over the host Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Sioux battle the Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 5. Lower Brule will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Chieftains go into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Marty Indian (Marty, SD).
