September 30, 2023: Newton, IA 50208 The Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets volleyball team (Eddyville, IA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA)
The Cardinals (13-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Davis County (Bloomfield, IA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 7-18 record. In their last challenge, Davis County was edged by Centerville (Centerville, IA), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Rockets encounter the Chariton Chargers (Chariton, IA) in a South Central challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record.
