English Valleys Bears (North English, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host New London Tigers (New London, IA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bears battle the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar match, on Monday, October 2. English Valleys will attempt to advance on its 11-11 season record. The Tigerhawks come into the match with a 7-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA).
