August 29, 2023: Burlington, IA 52601 The English Valleys Bears volleyball team (North English, IA), was dropped 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA)
The Nikes (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Danville (Danville, IA). The Bears enter the SEI - South challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Danville was dropped by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bears meet the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. English Valleys will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Branch (West Branch, IA).
