August 21, 2023: Burlington, IA 52601 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) and the visiting Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), saw Notre Dame's volleyball squad beat Columbus by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Notre Dame upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Nikes host North Tama (Traer, IA) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wapello for a SEI - North bout on Thursday, August 31. Columbus will play a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Burlington (West Burlington, IA). The Indians record now stands at 0-3.
