September 9, 2023: Donnellson, IA 52625 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA) and the visiting Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA), saw Central Lee's volleyball squad beat Columbus by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Central Lee upgrades its record to 2-13 on the year. The Hawks travel to New London (New London, IA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-9.
The Wildcats now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Williamsburg for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Columbus will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Benton (Van Horne, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-13.
