Iowa High School Volleyball - Independence over North Fayette Valley
September 30, 2023: Independence, IA 50644 Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 30. Independence will attempt to advance on its 13-15 season record. The Sailors come into the match with a 10-17 record after their 3-1 league loss to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA).
With the loss, North Fayette Valley drops to 10-8 on the campaign. The travel to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 5-13. MFL MarMac lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA)
