Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Knights clash with the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 30. Lexington Catholic will attempt to advance on its 21-9 season record. The Defenders come into the match with a 19-15 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY).

With the loss, Western Hills drops to 11-19 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) to meet the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 10. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 10-11.
