The Perquimans Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Mount Airy Granite Bears to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pirates now have a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ the King for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 30. Perquimans will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Mount Airy drops to 10-7 on the campaign. The Granite bears travel to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Villains in a non-league game on Saturday, September 30.
