South Dakota High School Volleyball - Sanborn Central/Woonsocket tips Wessington Springs

September 30, 2023: Wessington Springs, SD 57382

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) and the host Wessington Springs Spartans (Wessington Springs, SD), saw Sanborn Central/Woonsocket's volleyball squad nip Wessington Springs by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket upgrades its record to 6-11 on the year. The Rebels travel to Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 1-15. Sunshine Bible Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD)

The Spartans now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Highmore/Harrold for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. Wessington Springs will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD). The Pirates record now stands at 8-9.
