September 30, 2024: Carrizozo, NM 88301 The Corona/Vaughn Cardinals topped the host Carrizozo Grizzlies volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's league game.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Wagon Mound Trojans (Wagon Mound, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 1. Corona/Vaughn will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Trojans go into the game with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mora (Mora, NM).
The Grizzlies (0-12) will now prepare for their game against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Hondo Valley was dropped by New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
