September 30, 2024: Bloomsburg, PA 17815 Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Danville improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Ironmen host Hughesville (Hughesville, PA) to face the Spartans in a PIAA District IV test on Thursday, October 3. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-7.
The Bluejays now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loyalsock Township for a PIAA District IV test on Tuesday, October 1. Central Columbia will face a Lancers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-3.
