Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central Cobras (Fort Pierce, FL), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Merritt Island advances its record to 14-3 on the season. The Mustangs host Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL) to face the Scorpions in a 4A District 7 test on Wednesday, October 2. The Scorpions go into the test with a record of 9-6. Satellite lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Melbourne (Melbourne, FL)

The Cobras now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Central will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 14-3.
