The Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) volleyball held off the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 3-2 in Monday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Barrington for a Division 2 bout on Thursday, October 3. Lincoln will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Cumberland drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to clash with the Wizards in a Division 2 bout on Wednesday, October 2.
