The St. James Sharks volleyball squad (Murrells Inlet, SC), was defeated 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC)

With the win, Carolina Forest improves its record to 18-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC) to encounter the Chiefs in a AAAA Region 6 battle on Thursday, October 2. The Chiefs go into the battle with a record of 10-11. North Myrtle Beach lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC)

The Sharks now own a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conway for a AAAA Region 6 battle on Thursday, October 2. St. James will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Florence (Florence, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.
