Kentucky High School Soccer - Logan County knocks off Monroe County
September 30, 2025: Russellville, KY 42276 Fans at Tuesday's non-league match between the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) and the visiting Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY), witnessed Logan County's soccer team beat Monroe County by a final score of 4-0.
With the triumph, Logan County moves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Todd County Central (Elkton, KY) to meet the Rebels in a non-league match on Saturday, October 4. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 11-6. Todd County Central won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY)
The Falcons now sport a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they host Campbellsville for a non-league match on Thursday, October 2. Monroe County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Edmonson County (Brownsville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-10.
