North Carolina High School Volleyball - Franklinton tips Wake Forest

September 30, 2025: Franklinton, NC 27525

Franklinton Red Rams (Franklinton, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Franklinton improves its record to 13-4 on the season. The Red Rams travel to Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC) to face the Firebirds in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. The Firebirds go into the test with a record of 19-4. Falls Lake won 3-0 in their recent league test against Discovery Charter School (Bahama, NC)

The Cougars now own a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a Northern Six 6A/7A challenge on Thursday, October 2. Wake Forest will meet a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 13-6.
