Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) and the visiting Goldsboro Cougars (Goldsboro, NC), observed Princeton's volleyball team top Goldsboro by a tally of 3-1.

The Bulldogs (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Tigers go into the Swine Valley 2A/3A test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, James Kenan achieved victory over Goldsboro (Goldsboro, NC), 3-1, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Creek for a Swine Valley 2A/3A test on Thursday, October 2. Goldsboro will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Gators record now stands at 1-18.
