In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Mary Persons Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Luella Lions.

The Bulldogs (24-7) will now prepare for their test against Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 17-2 record. In their last test, Taylor County gained a win over Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA), 2-1, in a league test.

The Lions now sport a 0-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peach County for a 3A Area 1 test on Thursday, October 2. Luella will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Howard (Macon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-23.
