The McAllen Bulldogs volleyball squad (McAllen, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX)

With the win, Sharyland improves its record to 19-13 on the season. The Rattlers host Rowe (McAllen, TX) to encounter the Warriors in a 5A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, October 7. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 18-11.

The Bulldogs now own a 21-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowe for a 5A Region IV District 31 battle on Saturday, October 4. McAllen will battle a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 18-11.
