Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Murray County improves its record to 12-21 on the season.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Rockmart will attempt to upgrade on its 11-29 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-26 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Model (Rome, GA).
