September 4, 2021: Newport, NH 03773 Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Somersworth Toppers (Somersworth, NH), 24-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Newport improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bishop Brady (Concord, NH) to confront the Giants in a Division IV test on Saturday, September 11. The Giants come into the test with a record of 0-1. Bishop Brady lost 40-10 in their recent league test against Epping/Newmarket (Epping, NH)
With the loss, Somersworth drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Toppers host Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH) to confront the Bears in a Division IV test on Friday, September 10. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-0.
