September 4, 2025: Fishersville, VA 22939 The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Staunton Storm to 0 in the Green Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Green Hornets now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Spotswood for a non-league game on Monday, September 8. Wilson Memorial will face a Trailblazers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 3-1.
The Storm (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Riverheads went down by Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
