West Virginia High School Soccer - Brooke toppled by Wheeling Park
September 4, 2025: Wellsburg, WV 26070 Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), 10-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Wheeling Park moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to clash with the Redskins in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 5-1. Hurricane won 1-0 in their recent league test against Huntington (Huntington, WV)
The Bruins now sport a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wheeling Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Brooke will confront a Maroon Knights squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Maroon Knights record now stands at 4-1.
