West Virginia High School Soccer - Steubenville toppled by Wheeling Park
September 16, 2025: Wheeling, WV 26003 The Wheeling Park Patriots smashed the visiting Steubenville Big Red soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Patriots face the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a Two Rivers game, on Thursday, September 18. Wheeling Park will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over University (Morgantown, WV).
With the loss, Steubenville moves to 5-3 on the year. The Big red travel to Brooke (Wellsburg, WV) to play the Bruins in a Two Rivers bout on Thursday, September 18. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Brooke lost 12-0 in their recent league bout against Beaver Local (Lisbon, OH)
