Connecticut High School Soccer - Darien nudged by Wilton
September 4, 2025: Wilton, CT 06897 Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team nudge the visiting Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT), 2-1 in a league outing.
The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Cardinals go into the Fairfield County outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Greenwich got by St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT), 2-0, in a league test.
The Blue Wave now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stamford for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Darien will clash with a Black Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 2-0.
