The McDonald County Mustangs softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Joplin Eagles to 2 in the Mustangs league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. McDonald County will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Neosho (Neosho, MO). The Indians record now stands at 0-2.
