Georgia High School Softball - Perry succumbs to Veterans
September 4, 2025: Kathleen, GA 31047 In Thursday's non-league test, the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) softball squad triumphed over the visiting Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), by a score of 13-5.
With the triumph, Veterans improves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Warhawks travel to Lee County (Leesburg, GA) to face the Trojans in a 5A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 10-5. Lee County lost 17-0 in their recent non-league contest against Central (Carrollton, GA)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA) in a 4A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, September 9. Perry will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, GA).
