September 4, 2025: Amite, LA 70422 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Amite Warriors (Amite, LA) and the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), saw Amite's volleyball squad notch a victory over Varnado by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Amite improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors host Loranger (Loranger, LA) to encounter the Wolves in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Loranger lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA)
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Helena College and Career Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 10. Varnado will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
